Promotions

• Percentage sale with automatic rollback — filter by collection, cut price by a percentage, write the old price into compare-at price, set a revert time for the last day of the sale.
• Fixed-amount discount — the same shape, but the price drops by a set amount instead of a percentage. Useful when the catalog spans very different price points.
• Clearance on aged stock — filter by creation date and inventory quantity, then cut price for anything old and still in stock.

Repricing

• Margin-based prices — set price from cost per item by percentage, then round to the ending your store uses.
• Supplier increase — raise price by a percentage for one vendor, leaving the rest of the catalog untouched.
• Rounding cleanup — no price change at all, just apply a rounding rule so the whole catalog ends in the same decimals.

Catalog hygiene

• SEO backfill — find products whose SEO title is empty and fill it from a template.
• Tag cleanup — remove a retired tag across the catalog, add a replacement in the same task.
• Title normalisation — find and replace an old brand spelling in every product title.
• Draft the discontinued — filter by tag and inventory, then switch product status to draft.

Inventory

• Location correction — adjust quantity at one location with a reason code so the inventory history explains itself later.
• Stop overselling — set the inventory policy to deny for a filtered set of variants.
